GROHE Sustainability Policy, February 2008
GROHE environmental, health & safety management system
Already in May 2000, the GROHE Group Environmental Policy was initially adopted. It was setting out the company’s strategic objectives in relation to environmental protection. In February 2008 the environmental principles and guidelines were extended to further sustainability topics, like health & safety, to document the high importance within the company.
These objectives provide a framework and direction for sustainability related actions and continuous improvement in all areas of the company.
Integrated management system for quality, environmental, health & safety
Quality management, environmental protection and health & safety (EHS) go hand-in-hand at GROHE. EHS management has not been set up in isolation from the quality management system, but rather integrated into all relevant procedures. This means that, where possible, EHS aspects have been accounted for in existing regulations and that additional documents, such as new Working Instructions, have been avoided.
